We’ve constructed an Excel template you can use to conduct your inventory. This template works for 1000 records. If you need more space either start a new file or let us know if you need help extending the template.
Use the first sheet, “Full Set,” to enter your data. This shows the full set of fields. Then switch over to the second sheet, “Minimal Set,” to check your work and see if you’ve fulfilled the minimal requirements for the inventory to the best of your ability. You can’t enter data in the minimal set sheet, its only a view of the data entered in the full set sheet.
Once you’ve entered up to 1000 records, give the file a number or batch name so you can track your progress and upload it to this site within your organization’s inventory space.
As always, if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to contact us!

Hi!
I emailed you about this, but thought I’d post it here, too, to see if anyone else was experiencing this problem/ could share some insight: the “duration” column is set to an AM/PM format, and I can’t seem to change it, which leads me to believe the formatting is locked. This means I can’t enter actual durations. Anyone have advice here?
Thanks.
I think I fixed this on the latest version — re-download and let me know.
thanks!
Courtney
Works great. Thanks Courtney!

Multiple assets have been backed up on blu ray, what is the preferable format for this?
In order to add multiple assets to one unique identifier, which columns should be duplicated and where should they be located in the excel spread sheet?
Thank you in advance
I had uploaded our first finished database inventory. I’m not sure if it was done right. Public Radio KDNA.
You actually make it seem so easy together with your presentation however I find this topic to be actually something which I believe I’d never understand. It kind of feels too complex and extremely vast for me. I am looking forward in your next publish, I¡¦ll try to get the grasp of it!
